New Season -
New Teams
Teams will start registering for the 08/09 season in July. Any new teams willing to join the league should use the contact page. Entry fees are often negotiable for new
teams.
AGM
The AGM was held at the Millenium Hall in Fulwood with the Outdoor games cancelled due to lack of numbers attending. Despite low numbers some good points were raised to progress the association and the meeting time was, as promised, kept short. The minutes will be available soon.
VL Points -
A new system for the 2008/09 season means money back for clubs. During the year points will be awarded to clubs based on development work. For example:
5 points for a training facility
1 point for a proven press article
2 points for a schools training session
At the end of the season points will be turned into pounds and deducted from club fees. A club carrying out all the development work needed to gain a thriving club could gain back their initial league deposit of £70.
A special cup will also be awarded at the end of season event.
